ANG AH TEE (b.1943)

Ang Ah Tee was born in 11 November 1943, Singapore. Ang graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1962 and went on to become a full-time artist in 1977.
Ang is well versed in various mediums such as acrylic, oil, and watercolour. His paintings focuses on landmarks such as the Singapore River and Chinatown. Travelling was also a way for Ang to gather inspiration for his pieces. As such, he has been to several other parts of the world, such as China, India, Germany, Spain, Denmark, and so on.
Throughout his career, he has held many exhibitions, both solo and group. Ang was also the recipient to several awards, such as the National Day Art Award and the Cultural Medallion.
