LOW PUAY HUA (b.1945)

Low Puay Hua, born in Singapore in 1945, is an established Singaporean watercolour artist. He graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in 1965 and is a member of the Singapore Watercolour Society. Over the years, he has also explored oil painting and Chinese ink painting.
Low is particularly known for his depictions of Singapore’s local landscapes and streetscapes, including scenes of the Singapore River. His works have been exhibited widely in Singapore and internationally, including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, France and the United Kingdom.
